Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vonte Smith! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wood. Wood throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Smith was covering up waiting for the punch and Wood finishes the takedown easily into guard. Smith wants to stand up but Wood is controlling him. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Wood's corner. There ya go!
