Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eduardo Matias (ranked 4211 p4p, 5244 weight class) and Yun Jung (ranked 223 p4p, 245 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eduardo Matias! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Yun Jung! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jung gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Matias counters with a single leg into guard. Jung didn't expect that. Matias working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jung's head. Matias cracks Jung with a solid left hand. Matias makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Jung trying to keep a closed guard but Matias is proving a slippery customer.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Matias scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Jung is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jung manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Matias manages to get himself to full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action! Jung tries to free his leg and advance position but Matias is retaining full guard. Jung passes Matias's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Jung seems to be looking for submissions.
Jung looks winded! Matias wants to improve his position but Jung is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jung in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Matias tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Jung!
