Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Colins White (ranked 3538 p4p, 2971 weight class) and Khamzat Sonnen (ranked 450 p4p, 385 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Colins White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Khamzat Sonnen! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Chris Edwards and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White throws a nice outside leg kick. Sonnen with a lazy takedown attempt and White counters with a series of strikes. Sonnen will be more careful next time no doubt. White scores with a decent looking hook. White lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sonnen's sensitive parts. Sonnen is looking to clinch. It looked like White was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Sonnen fails with the takedown. Sonnen has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Sonnen shoots for a takedown but White saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. White looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Colins White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Khamzat Sonnen. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sonnen shoots in for a double leg but White sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Sonnen tries for a takedown but White circles away easily and White counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sonnen thinking. White throws a head kick that misses. Sonnen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. White defends it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sonnen dives in for a single leg takedown but White sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Sonnen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Colins White is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. White misses with a body shot.
White lands a right hook to the body.
White connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
It looks like Khamzat Sonnen has been cut. Sonnen shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. White manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Sonnen looks winded! Sonnen wants to pass the guard but White is keeping the position. White wants to stand up but Sonnen is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sonnen throws a big right hand that misses. Sonnen looking to pass the guard. White wants to get back to his feet but Sonnen is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. White keeping full guard, as Sonnen tries to pass.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. White misses with a wild body shot. Sonnen tries to score a power double leg takedown but White sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sonnen somewhat. White is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White lands a glancing blow to the side of Sonnen's head. Sonnen drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. White avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sonnen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Sonnen pushing down on White's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Sonnen stops White from getting back to his feet.
Sonnen seems to be working for a kimura but White defends the submission attempt. Sonnen is trying to work for a kimura but White is defending well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Sonnen wants to pass to mount but White is defending the position. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sonnen uses his free foot to push down on White's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for White. White trying desperately to get to his feet.
Sonnen is working for a guillotine from mount but White frees his head quite easily.
White wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
White on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if White tries to get out of the position. White defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Sonnen. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Colins White dominated that round. The cut man is working on Khamzat Sonnen's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Sonnen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from White.
Sonnen tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Sonnen dives in and grabs White's left leg, looking for a takedown. White pushes down on Sonnen's head and hops out. Sonnen shoots in but no luck this time. White cracks Sonnen with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Sonnen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but White avoids it really well and circles away. Colins White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Khamzat Sonnen. White lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White drops Sonnen with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sonnen looks back up at him and smiles so White waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Sonnen is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sonnen walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from White! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Colins White! Colins White looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Frankie I am ready now if not Frankie I will fight Uestus or maybe Ryan if he wants to man up and fight me,'.
