Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yushi Sakura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Maki Damchaigym!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damchaigym blocks a head kick by Sakura.
Damchaigym throws a fast counter high kick but Sakura manages to duck under it in time.
Maki Damchaigym seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Damchaigym looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Damchaigym tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Sakura clinches up with Damchaigym and pushes him back against the cage.
Damchaigym turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
You can see the frustration on Sakura's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Sakura in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Damchaigym tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Sakura!
