PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boom Chaching (ranked 4152 p4p, 4238 weight class) and Nigel Stricter (ranked 452 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Chaching might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Box Indian Version. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaching tries to clinch up but Stricter circles away and keeps his distance.
Chaching tries to clinch but Stricter is having none of it.
Stricter wants to counter the offense by Chaching and move into the clinch position.
Stricter on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Chaching forces Stricter back against the cage and clinches.
Stricter is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Chaching looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Stricter ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Stricter no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chaching wants to pass the guard but Stricter is keeping the position.

Stricter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Chaching is one step ahead there.
Chaching stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stricter swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Stricter lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Chaching has an active guard here but Stricter has managed to pass into half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Stricter in particular looking to stall.
Stricter seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Stricter passes to full mount!
Stricter lands a big shot there that rocks Chaching but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Stricter lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Stricter quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Stricter but it's paid off an Chaching is forced to tap! Nice work by Stricter.
