Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harvey Newman (ranked 4220 p4p, 4481 weight class) and Baxter Broxton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Harvey Newman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Baxter Broxton! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Newman gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Broxton working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. The referee is keeping an eye on Newman - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Newman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Broxton lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Harvey Newman has been cut. Newman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Broxton's guard. Newman gets to his feet. Broxton looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Broxton lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. This has been an exciting period of action! Broxton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Newman misses with a combination
enabling Broxton to counter with a crisp jab. Broxton connects with a leg kick. Broxton tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Excellent takedown into side control there by Newman.
That's one minute gone in the round. Newman decides to stand up, so the ref orders Broxton to his feet. Newman shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Broxton manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Newman gets to his feet. Broxton looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Broxton throws a front kick aimed at Newman's knee but Newman avoids it well. Newman tries a head kick but it misses.
Broxton swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Newman misses with a wild combination.
Newman shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Newman trying to pass the guard but Broxton defending well. Newman content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Newman has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Newman missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Newman controlling the action here. Newman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Broxton for as long as he can get away with. Newman has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Newman sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Broxton has given up his back.
Newman working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Broxton is doing well to defend. Newman seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Broxton is forced to tap and this one is over!
