Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harvey Newman (ranked 4220 p4p, 4481 weight class) and Baxter Broxton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Newman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Broxton's guard.

Newman shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Broxton manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Broxton throws a front kick aimed at Newman's knee but Newman avoids it well.
Newman tries a head kick but it misses.
Broxton swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.

Newman shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Newman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Broxton for as long as he can get away with.
