Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Christophe Pouliot (ranked 2145 p4p, 2668 weight class) and Lubomir Sultsina (ranked 279 p4p, 340 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sultsina moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Sultsina has managed to clinch.
Sultsina lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Pouliot is pressed up against the cage. Sultsina has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pouliot down to the mat. Pouliot avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Sultsina throws a head kick but Pouliot moves out of range.
Pouliot misses with a shot to the body
and Sultsina counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Sultsina drives through and clinches with Pouliot against the cage.
Sultsina tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Pouliot avoids it.

Pouliot has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

and Sultsina counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Pouliot seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

and Pouliot counters with a single leg into guard. Sultsina didn't expect that.
Pouliot not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Sultsina really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pouliot. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
