Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Giovanni De Rossi (ranked 793 p4p, 1888 weight class) and Chester Nimitz (ranked 118 p4p, 261 weight class). De Rossi comes to the cage accompanied by System Of A Down - Chop Suey!. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Giovanni De Rossi! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chester Nimitz! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Bruno Lombardi and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Rossi has closed the distance and engaged Nimitz in a clinch.
De Rossi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Nimitz just stands there and leans against the cage. Nimitz wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but De Rossi has him pressed against the cage. Nimitz breaks the clinch.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Giovanni De Rossi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. De Rossi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nimitz swats him away and circles back towards the center. De Rossi moves into the clinch. That was a close second round but I would say that Giovanni De Rossi will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Giovanni De Rossi's cut. The referee calls time. Giovanni De Rossi made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Thanks Chester for another good scrap and If it wasn't for me you would hold on for that title for sure, much respect man.
