This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 6 losses; Trevor Barnes! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 10 losses; Bea Mason! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Mason misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Barnes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Barnes wants it to stay on the feet. Mason clinches. Mason is trying to pull guard but Barnes turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Trevor Barnes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. And that's the end of the fight! Barnes takes the fight on points by 6 to 0. A relieved looking Trevor Barnes thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. |
