Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Panda One (ranked 5304 p4p, 3348 weight class) and Udonis Okoro (ranked 543 p4p, 432 weight class). Okoro has chosen The HU - Sad But True as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Panda One!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Udonis Okoro!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

One looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
One stops Okoro from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Okoro has one foot on One's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

Okoro closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
One is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Okoro to keep the fight standing.
One presses Okoro against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Okoro is trying to force a seperation but One has the dominant position.

Okoro escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
One jabbing away but nothing is landing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
One throws a body punch but Okoro moves out of range.

One shoots in and bounces Okoro off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

One is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Okoro wants to stand but One is controlling the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.

Okoro ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

One will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Okoro throws a big counter head kick but One avoids it with no problem.

One keeps the fight on the outside.

Okoro closes the distance and clinches.
One is trying to pull guard but Okoro turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

One has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Okoro can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Okoro is working One over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

One looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Okoro distracts One with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Okoro is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

One escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Okoro gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

One is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

One is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Okoro is aware though and is defending well.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Udonis Okoro will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

One ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Okoro moves away.
One missing with a left hand there. Okoro was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Okoro keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
One changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Okoro tries to avoid it but One manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Okoro to the ground. Okoro escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Okoro throws a good cross that connects.

It looks like Panda One has been cut.
One misses with a wild body shot.
One misses with a straight left.

Okoro darts in and clinches One up against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Okoro looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

One keeps the fight on the outside.

One changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Okoro looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

One thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
One lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Okoro at a distance.

and Okoro counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

One tries to work over Okoro's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Okoro working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

One shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Okoro as he avoids it easily.
One misses with a takedown attempt - Okoro sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Okoro wants to counter the offense by One and move into the clinch position.

One throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Okoro was covering up waiting for the punch and One finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Okoro manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Okoro lands with a short head shot on the inside.

One fails to pull guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
One fails with an attempt to clinch.
And Okoro tries to counter it with a takedown but One pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Okoro throws a nice looking combination but One bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
One half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

One swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Okoro.

One lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Okoro has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Okoro pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Okoro uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by One.
One ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Okoro fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt One.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Okoro drives through and clinches with One against the cage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
One misses with a hook to the ribs.

One pulls Okoro into guard.
Okoro wants to control from the top but One keeps moving.
Okoro is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

One had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Okoro defends it easily.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Okoro wants to control from the top but One keeps moving.

I would just about give that final round to Udonis Okoro.
I think Okoro has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
