PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gemechu McKraken (ranked 120 p4p, 218 weight class) and Rukter Demenok (ranked 16 p4p, 29 weight class). Demenok comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Moby Dick Speech kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McKraken throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Demenok tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. McKraken is in Demenok's guard.

McKraken is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Demenok is just riding it out for now. McKraken eventually gives up the hold.

McKraken remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
