Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kent Fredricks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mike Carpenter!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fredricks slaps away a takedown attempt from Carpenter, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Fredricks scores with a jab.

It looks like Mike Carpenter has been cut.
Carpenter moves to clinch but Fredricks breaks away
and Fredricks connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Fredricks circles away from the clinch attempt
enabling Fredricks to counter with a crisp jab.
Carpenter is looking to clinch but Fredricks is avoiding it.
Carpenter tries to clinch up.
Fredricks throws a big counter combination but Carpenter scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Fredricks is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Fredricks slaps away a takedown attempt from Carpenter, before circling back to the center of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fredricks scores with a jab.
Fredricks throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Carpenter.
Fredricks lands a slapping body shot.
Fredricks lands a nice hook to Carpenter's body. Carpenter takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fredricks lands with an uppercut that bounces Carpenter off the cage and back into range.
Fredricks fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Carpenter on the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fredricks bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Carpenter's head backwards.

Fredricks drops Carpenter with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Carpenter looks back up at him and smiles so Fredricks waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Fredricks plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Carpenter swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Carpenter face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kent Fredricks!
Kent Fredricks tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
