Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vinnie Pellegrini (ranked 229 p4p, 1733 weight class) and Sao Alela (ranked 37 p4p, 237 weight class). Alela has chosen Cryin' Like a Bitch as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vinnie Pellegrini!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sao Alela!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alela lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Alela.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with each other but Alela might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Pellegrini has got the better of the exchanges.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pellegrini cracks Alela on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Alela falls backwards against the cage. Pellegrini follows up with more strikes that drop Alela to his knees. Pellegrini keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Alela! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Vinnie Pellegrini thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
