The judges for this bout are George Francis, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for VanWylde with that takedown attempt.
Paul VanWylde seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
VanWylde scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Foster fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

and Foster decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in VanWylde's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

VanWylde working for a triangle but Foster defends it easily.

VanWylde has his foot on Foster's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Foster works his way back into a safe position though.
