Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Martin Mane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ Hugo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martin Mane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, BJ Hugo!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mane closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Mane pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Mane throws a quick inside leg kick.

Hugo jumps guard but Mane stands there with Hugo around his waist. Hugo gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hugo fails to pull guard.
Hugo fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Martin Mane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of BJ Hugo.
Hugo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mane walks away with a smile on his face. Hugo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Good leg kick by Mane there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Mane takes the fight into the clinch.
Hugo letting Mane take a breather here.
Hugo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mane walks away with a smile on his face. Hugo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Hugo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mane is fending him off so far but Hugo persists. Nope, Mane circles away and we're back to standing.
Mane fakes the leg kick and cracks Hugo in the body.
Hugo looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mane lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Mane lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Mane. Hugo shrugs it off though.
Mane lands a high kick!

Mane lands a nice hook to Hugo's body. Hugo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mane clinches with his opponent.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Mane takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Mane is trying to trip Hugo. He has hold of a leg but Hugo is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Mane persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Hugo has momentary wrist control but Mane slips an elbow through the middle.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mane postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Mane postures up in Hugo's guard and throws a big left but Hugo blocks it.
Mane seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mane won't allow Hugo to sweep him here.
Mane wants to stand and escape but instead Hugo has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Mane looking for a sweep. Not yet Mane, not yet.
Hugo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mane swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Mane is trying to control the position but Hugo postures up.
Mane escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hugo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mane moves in looking to clinch but Hugo pushes him off.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hugo checks a leg kick nicely.
Mane rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hugo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hugo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mane tries to avoid it but Hugo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mane to the ground. Mane escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mane fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hugo scores with a takedown into Mane's guard.
Hugo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Hugo postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mane is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hugo, into his guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Martin Mane dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Mane's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Mane duly obliges.
Mane tries a head kick but it misses.
Hugo gets a takedown into half guard.
Hugo is looking for a kimura but Mane is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hugo to get the leverage.
Hugo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Mane knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hugo on the ground.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Mane trying to control but Hugo postures up.
Hugo prevents Mane from improving his position.
Hugo seems to be looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Mane preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Hugo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mane defends it well.

Mane tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Hugo seems to be working for a kimura but Mane defends the submission attempt.
Hugo seems to be looking for submissions.
Mane is trying to stand.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Hugo seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Mane is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
