Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felix Inarritu (ranked 603 p4p, 907 weight class) and Drew Barnes (ranked 91 p4p, 128 weight class). Inarritu's entrance music is Vulcano. A fine choice. Felix Inarritu has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 37 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Felix Inarritu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Drew Barnes! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barnes throws a head kick that misses. Barnes moves out of range as Inarritu strikes. Barnes misses with the combination.
Barnes throws a combination. Inarritu tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Felix Inarritu has been cut. Inarritu throws out a loose jab but Barnes uses good head movement to avoid it. Barnes has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Inarritu. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barnes connects with a leg kick. Barnes throws a right hand that Inarritu ducks under and follows up with a left that Inarritu also avoids with ease. Barnes sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Inarritu has been working on his boxing with his coaches at FIST OF FURY in the buildup to the fight. Barnes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Inarritu throws out the jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barnes's corner calls for a 1-2. Barnes obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Inarritu keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Barnes. It looked like Inarritu wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. A big right from Barnes misses. A little feinted left hand from Inarritu on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Barnes throws a right and a left that Inarritu avoids nicely. Inarritu moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

It looks like Drew Barnes has been cut. Inarritu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Barnes. Barnes misses with a left hand and Inarritu counters with a nice leg kick. Barnes misses with a right hand and Inarritu counters with a straight right hand. Inarritu moves out of range of the strikes. It looked like Inarritu wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Inarritu cracks Barnes with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Inarritu has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Barnes to stand back up!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Inarritu is stalking Barnes. Barnes circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Inarritu, and it's lights out! Barnes really payed the price for that rookie mistake.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Felix Inarritu! Felix Inarritu seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
