Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kranckx Diesel (ranked 3901 p4p, 1178 weight class) and Remi Chavaski (ranked 414 p4p, 160 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Remi Chavaski!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chavaski shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Diesel defends it nicely.
Diesel tries to clinch but Chavaski moves away

and Chavaski counters with a single leg into guard. Diesel didn't expect that.

Chavaski is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Chavaski stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diesel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chavaski is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Chavaski's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Chavaski wants to pass the guard but Diesel is keeping the position.

Chavaski drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chavaski jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Chavaski sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Diesel's guard.

Chavaski seems to be working for a kimura but Diesel defends the submission attempt.

Chavaski is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Diesel sees it coming and defends easily.
Chavaski seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Diesel does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chavaski looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Chavaski is looking for a kimura but Diesel is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Chavaski to get the leverage.
Chavaski passes to full mount!

Diesel is trying to control the position here but Chavaski swings around for an armbar and he's got it! This one is all over, courtesy of a slick submission by Chavaski!
