These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vieira lands a nice hook to Fisticuffs's body. Fisticuffs takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Vieira throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Fisticuffs gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Fisticuffs throws a punch but it's blocked by Vieira.
Fisticuffs lands a right hand that snaps the head of Vieira backwards.

Vieira drops Fisticuffs onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Fisticuffs is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Oh Fisticuffs is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vieira creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Fisticuffs with a big uppercut! Fisticuffs tries to clinch up but Vieira pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Fisticuffs to the mat! Fisticuffs covers up and Vieira unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

After the fight, Jorlan Vieira was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
