PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lidio Noia (ranked 925 p4p, 94 weight class) and Karockas Thibodeaux (ranked 140 p4p, 18 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Karockas Thibodeaux was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thibodeaux throws a jab when Noia was well out of range.
Noia appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Thibodeaux scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Good standup being displayed there by Thibodeaux as he connects with a hook.
Thibodeaux lands a head shot.

Noia is rocked!
Noia looks to score with a jab to the body but Thibodeaux is just out of range.
Thibodeaux connects with a body shot.
Thibodeaux takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Thibodeaux rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Noia counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Thibodeaux thinking.
Thibodeaux tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Noia manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Noia slips under a jab from Thibodeaux.
Thibodeaux looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Thibodeaux sends Noia crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Thibodeaux is motioning to the referee to let Noia up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Noia is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thibodeaux walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Noia drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Thibodeaux swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Noia's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
