Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Everest Frank (ranked 570 p4p, 373 weight class) and Jani Honkanen (ranked 84 p4p, 52 weight class). Frank comes to the cage accompanied by Knife Talk x Drake ft. 21 Savage x Project Pat. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Everest Frank!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Jani Honkanen!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honkanen shoots in for a takedown but Frank shows good takedown defense.
Frank uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Honkanen.
Frank tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Honkanen manages to circle out of the way.
Honkanen misses with a hook
and Frank moves into the clinch.
Frank wants the takedown. Honkanen is fighting it off but Frank persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Honkanen's guard against the cage.
Frank has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Honkanen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Frank is aware though and is defending well.
Frank scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Honkanen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Frank gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Frank content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Frank is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Frank slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Honkanen not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Frank passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Frank scoring with punches and elbows.
Honkanen tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Frank wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Frank grinds an elbow into Honkanen's temple.
Honkanen wants to control but Frank postures up.
Honkanen is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Frank's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Honkanen has hold of Frank's hands but Frank slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Honkanen is looking for a sweep. Frank is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Frank takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Frank looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Honkanen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Honkanen wants to improve his position but Frank is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Frank is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Honkanen is rocked!
Honkanen wants to control but Frank is keeping busy.
Honkanen is still in real trouble! Can Frank finish him?
Frank lands a big elbow - Honkanen is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Frank!

After winning the bout, Everest Frank thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
