PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Thomas Babcock (ranked 658 p4p, 1046 weight class) and Fredrik White (ranked 83 p4p, 136 weight class). Babcock comes to the cage accompanied by 70. White has chosen Seven nation army as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jesse Thomas Babcock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fredrik White!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Steven Brown and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White tries to close the distance and clinch but Babcock swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
White tries to clinch up but Babcock circles away and keeps his distance.

Babcock ducks down and throws a hook to the body but White moves away.

We've been hearing reports that Babcock has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
