Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Lima (ranked 529 p4p, 850 weight class) and Vladimir Plusnin (ranked 80 p4p, 127 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ricardo Lima!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Plusnin!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lima.
Plusnin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Plusnin, as that shot connected.
Lima fails with a takedown attempt.
Lima feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
