Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ogre Toshin (ranked 1040 p4p, 667 weight class) and Dwalin Giantslayer (ranked 140 p4p, 96 weight class). Toshin comes into the arena with Death Squad blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ogre Toshin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Dwalin Giantslayer!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giantslayer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dwalin Giantslayer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Giantslayer misses with a looping right.
Toshin lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Giantslayer swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Giantslayer shoots and misses
and Toshin counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Giantslayer is trying hard to land a takedown here. Toshin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Ogre Toshin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dwalin Giantslayer.

and Toshin counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Giantslayer shoots for a double leg takedown but Toshin sprawls well. He's pushed Giantslayer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Giantslayer darts in looking for a takedown but Toshin gets double underhooks and turns Giantslayer into the cage.

Giantslayer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Toshin avoids it really well and circles away.

so Giantslayer counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Giantslayer gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Giantslayer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Giantslayer throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Toshin.
Toshin pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Giantslayer takes one to the chin there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Giantslayer misses with a double jab.
A nice inside leg kick there by Toshin. That's going to slow Giantslayer down.
Giantslayer gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Toshin.
Giantslayer shoots in for a double leg but Toshin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Toshin lands a left and a right that send Giantslayer crashing to the mat, dazed. Toshin thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Giantslayer is rocked!
That has opened up Dwalin Giantslayer's cut even more.
Giantslayer misses with a right hand
and Toshin counters with a crisp right that sends Giantslayer to the canvas! Toshin follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ogre Toshin!
In his post fight interview, Ogre Toshin started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
