Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Krunic (ranked 4151 p4p, 4276 weight class) and Kevin Savel (ranked 542 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Adam Krunic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kevin Savel! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krunic has Savel up against the cage in a clinch.
Krunic escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Krunic darts in and clinches Savel up against the cage. Savel drags the fight down to the ground.
Krunic sitting in guard here, content to control. Krunic trying to stand up but can't free himself from Savel's guard. Krunic sitting in guard, not really doing much. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Krunic preventing the sweep. Savel is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Krunic defends well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Krunic decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Savel, up you get! Savel looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Krunic tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Savel defends well and Krunic ends up having to push Savel into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Krunic fails to pull guard.
Krunic is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Savel to keep the fight standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Krunic. That's going to take a lot out of him. Krunic stalling.

Savel taking a breather. Krunic lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Savel. Krunic tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Savel just stands there and leans against the cage. Savel manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Krunic tries to stand but Savel is controlling from the bottom. Savel striking off his back but it's not causing Krunic any problems. Krunic stands up and waves to Savel to follow him. Krunic moves into the clinch successfully.
Krunic tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Savel smiles and moves away.
Krunic throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Savel. Krunic instigates a clinch. Savel tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Krunic just stands there and leans against the cage. Krunic lands a right hand. Savel prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Savel gets control of Krunic's arms and successfully pulls guard. Savel will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Krunic stays in close to Savel's body and controls the position. Krunic postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Savel trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Krunic lands a couple of digs. Savel striking off his back but it's not causing Krunic any problems. Krunic in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Savel is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Savel has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Krunic can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Savel trying to control the position.
Savel looking for a sweep. Not yet Savel, not yet. Krunic stands up from Savel's guard - Krunic perhaps looking for a knockout. Krunic moves out of range as Savel strikes. Krunic with a nice calf kick. Krunic displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Savel. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Excellent takedown into side control there by Krunic. Savel throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Adam Krunic will probably get the nod. That's time! Krunic's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Savel looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Krunic is fending him off so far but Savel persists. Nope, Krunic circles away and we're back to standing. Krunic rushes Savel and presses him up against the cage. Krunic pressing his opponent against the cage. Savel pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Krunic avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Savel shoots for a takedown but Krunic saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Krunic darts in and clinches Savel up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Savel escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Savel tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Krunic gets a double leg takedown into Savel's guard. Krunic really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. This has been an exciting period of action! Krunic seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Krunic will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Krunic's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Savel looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Krunic is defending well. Savel quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Krunic has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Savel celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
