The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxwell tries to land a front kick but Genie steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Genie tries to clinch but Maxwell is having none of it.

Maxwell closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Maxwell connects with a nasty looking knee right to Genie's face.

It looks like Sky Genie has been cut.
Maxwell lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Genie swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Genie has had enough of the clinch but Maxwell keeps him there for the moment.
Maxwell lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Maxwell drops Genie with a big knee straight up the middle! Genie is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Genie is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Genie is still on wobbly legs! Can Maxwell finish him?
Maxwell lands a knee to the head.
Maxwell working the clinch nicely. Genie is working for position but Maxwell cracks him with a big knee to the head! Genie crumples up against the cage and Maxwell lands two more shots before the ref can save Genie! This one is all over!
