Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Tom Taggart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Trenton Alcorn!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Alcorn with that takedown attempt.
Alcorn shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Taggart pinned against the cage. Taggart gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Taggart clobbers Alcorn with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Trenton Alcorn has been cut.
Taggart lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Taggart ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Taggart connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Alcorn tries to score a power double leg takedown but Taggart sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Alcorn somewhat.
Tom Taggart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trenton Alcorn.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Taggart fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Alcorn looks winded!
Taggart connects with a jab.
Alcorn takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Taggart cracks Alcorn on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Alcorn falls backwards against the cage. Taggart follows up with more strikes that drop Alcorn to his knees. Taggart keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Alcorn! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tom Taggart!
