Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Miguel Chol! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jon Banks ! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Banks slaps away a takedown attempt from Chol, before circling back to the center of the mat. Banks is clearly looking to counter with head kicks. Chol shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Banks throws a big counter head kick but Chol avoids it with no problem. A head kick misses from Chol. Chol shoots in looking for a takedown but Banks manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Chol's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Banks fails with a takedown attempt. Miguel Chol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Banks fails with an attempt to clinch.
