Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rojesterman Austin (ranked 5958 p4p, 4228 weight class) and Callim Jhonson (ranked 0 p4p, 520 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rojesterman Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Callim Jhonson!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Austin.
Jhonson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jhonson clobbers Austin with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Austin misses with a body shot.

Jhonson clinches.
Jhonson wants a takedown.
Austin tries to pull guard but Jhonson won't allow it.
Austin jumps guard but Jhonson stands there with Austin around his waist. Austin gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rojesterman Austin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Austin throws a combination that misses
and Jhonson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Austin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Jhonson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Austin is not content to let Jhonson control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Austin tries to improve position but can't.
Austin is breathing heavily.
Jhonson is looking to take a break and control but Austin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
You can see the frustration on Austin's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Jhonson working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Jhonson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Austin keeps working.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Jhonson cracks Austin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Austin tries to reverse the position but Jhonson maintains control.
Jhonson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Jhonson tries to control but Austin wriggling away.
Jhonson lands with some strikes.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jhonson looking to control and managing it successfully.
Austin wants to hold on but Jhonson pushes him away.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Austin tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Jhonson defends well and Austin ends up having to push Jhonson into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Jhonson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Austin clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Austin lands a head kick. Jhonson smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Austin stuffs the takedown.
Rojesterman Austin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Callim Jhonson.

Austin rushes Jhonson and presses him up against the cage.
Jhonson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Austin fails to pull guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Austin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Jhonson darts in looking for a takedown but Austin gets double underhooks and turns Jhonson into the cage.
Austin shoots for a takedown but Jhonson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jhonson keeps the fight on the outside.
Austin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jhonson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jhonson jabs Austin to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Jhonson connects with a high kick.
Austin has a takedown stuffed.
Callim Jhonson seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Austin darts in looking for a takedown but Jhonson gets double underhooks and turns Austin into the cage.
Jhonson unleashes a big counter combination but Austin bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
I was talking to Austin's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Jhonson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Jhonson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Austin's half guard.
Well, if Jhonson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Jhonson is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Austin to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Austin shrugs it off.

That's time! Austin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Austin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jhonson wants to counter the offense by Austin and move into the clinch position.

Jhonson is trying to pull guard but Austin has him pressed against the cage.
Jhonson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Austin smiles and moves away.
Austin dives in for a single leg takedown but Jhonson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Austin tries to clinch up but Jhonson circles away and keeps his distance.

Jhonson drives through and clinches with Austin against the cage.
Jhonson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Austin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Jhonson is struggling to control the position.
Jhonson is trying to maintain a safe position but Austin gets an underhook and turns Jhonson into the cage.
Austin is looking to take this one to the mat.

Jhonson throws a series of punches but Austin moves out of range.
Austin tries to counter by clinching up but Jhonson breaks away and moves out of range.

Jhonson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jhonson wants it to stay on the feet.
Jhonson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Austin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jhonson is fending him off so far but Austin persists. Nope, Jhonson circles away and we're back to standing.

Jhonson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Austin to the ground. Jhonson is now in Austin's guard.

Austin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jhonson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Jhonson is looking to stand up but Austin won't let him.

Jhonson stands and steps away. Austin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Jhonson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jhonson swats away the attempt to clinch by Austin.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Austin dives in for a single leg takedown but Jhonson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Austin tries to stall but Jhonson uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Callim Jhonson has got the better of the ground game so far.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Jhonson has Austin pulled in close to control his posture.

Callim Jhonson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Jhonson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
