These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hongtong counters with a left to the body.
Hongtong has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Memento Mori in the buildup to the fight.
Brown on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Hongtong checks a low kick from Brown.
Brown keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Brown throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Brown throws a right hand that misses
and Hongtong counters with a straight right hand.
Hongtong throws a hook but Brown avoids it easily.
Hongtong throws a good cross that connects.

Hongtong drops Brown with a beautiful combination! Brown stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hongtong is looking for the KO!

Brown throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Brown seems to have recovered his senses.
Hongtong bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Brown's head.

Hongtong cracks Brown with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Brown looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hongtong finish him?

Brown fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hongtong looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Hongtong lands a big right hand that sends Brown crashing to the mat! Hongtong stays standing though and waves Brown back to his feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hongtong pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Hongtong cracks Brown on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Brown falls backwards against the cage. Hongtong follows up with more strikes that drop Brown to his knees. Hongtong keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Brown! This one is all over!
