Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Cillian (ranked 5151 p4p, 5095 weight class) and Rick Hammer (ranked 572 p4p, 569 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cillian throws a shot from downtown. Hammer moves away and avoids it.
Cillian throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hammer lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Cillian blocks a head kick by Hammer.
Cillian misses the jab.
A countering left hand to the body from Hammer misses.
Hammer just misses with a punch to the body.
Cillian jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hammer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Hammer thumps Cillian with a low kick.
Hammer misses with a hook. Cillian ducked under it nicely.

Hammer throws the left hand but Cillian avoids the punch easily.

Cillian tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hammer was well out of range. Poor timing from Cillian.

Cillian misses with an uppercut. Hammer saw that one coming.

and Hammer counters with a low kick, right behind Cillian 's knee.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cillian throws a leg kick but Hammer moved away.

Hammer throws a looping overhand right but Cillian ducks down to avoid it.

Cillian throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hammer doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Hammer keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Cillian throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Cillian scores with a sloppy right hand. Hammer should have avoided that one.
Hammer lands a nice hook to Cillian's body. Cillian takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

and Cillian counters with a two punch combo.
Cillian throws a lazy right hand but Hammer sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
It seemed like Hammer was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
An inside leg kick lands from Hammer.
Hammer throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
An attempted straight right counter from Cillian misses the target.
Cillian fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hammer on the side of the head.
Hammer is rocked!
Cillian steps in with a hook that catches Hammer right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Cillian follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Hammer looks absolutely devastated.
