The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chudwell misses with an uppercut. Varupa saw that one coming.
Varupa defending well as Chudwell loads up on a big left hand.
Varupa gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Varupa manages to break the clinch.
A slow jab from Chudwell misses its intended target.
Chudwell throws a right hand that misses
and Varupa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Varupa bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Varupa throws the kick towards the body but Chudwell avoids it.
Chudwell misses the shot to the body.
Varupa gets a takedown into half guard.
Chudwell has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Varupa is working away from the top position though.
Chudwell is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Varupa pulls his head out easily.

Varupa throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Chudwell is trying to control but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Chudwell is staying active underneath Varupa, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Varupa thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Chudwell gets full guard.
Chudwell is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Chudwell is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Varupa frees his head nicely. Oh but Chudwell has switched to an armbar! Varupa is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
