The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Planck misses with a hook to the body

Zane looks to land a right hand but Planck moved out of range.

A looping hook to the body misses from Planck. Zane does a little dance to reset his feet.

Planck pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Planck tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zane swats him away and circles back towards the center.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zane seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Planck uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Zane.
Planck tries to counter with a clinch but Zane shakes him off and moves away.

Zac Zane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Planck throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Zane takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Zane jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Planck walks away with a smile on his face. Zane gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Planck scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Zane doesn't seem bothered though.

Zane tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zane jumps guard but Planck stands there with Zane around his waist. Zane gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

and Planck counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Zane out cold! What a finish! Planck is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
