Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chester Drawers (ranked 3795 p4p, 3684 weight class) and Chu Ho Soon (ranked 0 p4p, 354 weight class). Ho Soon has chosen Carl Orff - O Fortuna as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chester Drawers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 21 - 14 - 2, fighting out of New York, Chu Ho Soon! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Dean Styles and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ho Soon leaves Drawers with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Drawers. Drawers throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ho Soon was covering up waiting for the punch and Drawers finishes the takedown easily into guard. Drawers trying to control the position from guard on top but Ho Soon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ho Soon wants to stand and escape but Drawers is having none of it. Ho Soon looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ho Soon trying to control the position here. Drawers looking to sit in guard and control but Ho Soon gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Ho Soon wants to stand but Drawers is controlling his posture from full guard. Drawers looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ho Soon is one step ahead there. That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Ho Soon decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Ho Soon is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ho Soon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Drawers has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Ho Soon finds it's way round the side to connect with Drawers's head. Ho Soon changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Drawers tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ho Soon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Drawers somewhat. Ho Soon steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Drawers. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chester Drawers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ho Soon lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Drawers at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Ho Soon. Drawers does a little dance to reset his feet. Ho Soon throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ho Soon lands with a nice body punch. A glancing blow. Nice uppercut lands for Ho Soon. That snapped Drawers's head back.
Drawers shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ho Soon is looking for a sweep. Drawers is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Ho Soon is refusing to be controlled, as Drawers sits in half guard. Drawers prevents Ho Soon from improving his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drawers content to control rather than advance. Drawers is working for a kimura but Ho Soon is defending it quite comfortably.
Ho Soon makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ho Soon. Ho Soon wants to sweep but no luck. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ho Soon has control of Drawers's left arm, preventing Drawers from doing any damage. Drawers lands a couple of decent looking shots. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Chu Ho Soon dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Drawers on the wrong end of a nice jab. Drawers shoots in but no luck this time. Ho Soon misses with a straight left. Ho Soon has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A combination from Ho Soon does no damage. Drawers shoots and misses and Ho Soon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Drawers gets tackled into the cage by Ho Soon. Ho Soon maintains the clinch. Drawers is trying to pull guard but Ho Soon turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chester Drawers. That's going to take a lot out of him. Drawers looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Ho Soon lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Drawers backwards. Drawers wants to break free but Ho Soon has control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ho Soon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ho Soon has closed the distance and engaged Drawers in a clinch.
Drawers jumps guard but Ho Soon stands there with Drawers around his waist. Drawers gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Drawers tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Ho Soon avoids it. Ho Soon stalling.
A nice right hand lands inside from Ho Soon. Drawers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Chu Ho Soon seems to be getting the better of the standup. Drawers fails with a takedown attempt. Ho Soon unleashes a big counter combination but Drawers bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Drawers gets the takedown into side control. Ho Soon throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Drawers gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Ho Soon counters with a lovely straight right hand! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A left and a right from Ho Soon both land. Nice combination.
Drawers is rocked! Ho Soon closes the distance and clinches. Oh Drawers is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ho Soon tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Ho Soon lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Drawers. A short right hand to the side of the head by Ho Soon. Ho Soon lands a hook to the side of the head. Ho Soon lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drawers is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Ho Soon pulls him back up using the underhooks. Ho Soon misses with a punch on the inside.

Ho Soon working some nice short punches in the clinch. Ho Soon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ho Soon lands a slapping body shot.
Ho Soon steps in with a hook that catches Drawers right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Ho Soon follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Drawers looks absolutely devastated.
