Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dawindi Buktot (ranked 24640 p4p, 24562 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dawindi Buktot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Buktot slaps away a takedown attempt from Buut, before circling back to the center of the mat. Buktot jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Buktot feints and as Buut raises his hands in defense, Buktot changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buktot wants to control from the top but Buut keeps moving. Buktot is in close to Buut's body, working some short punches and elbows.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot is stalling in the full guard. Buut is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Buktot is stalling in the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Buktot throws an elbow that misses. Buut uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Buktot's guard. Nice move by Buut! Buktot is controlling Buut's posture. Buut slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Buktot is trying to control the position but Buut postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buktot will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Buut looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Buut is stalling in the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Buktot is trying to keep Buut in close.
Buktot pulls Buut in close to his closed guard and prevents Buut from doing any damage or advancing position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buktot has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Walay Buut will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Buut changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Buktot looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Buktot takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut controlling the position from side mount. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buktot struggling a bit here. Buktot tries to get back to half guard but can't. Buut happy to just control the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Buktot dodges the ground and pound from Buut.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Buktot changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Buut tries to avoid it but Buktot manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Buut to the ground. Buut escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Buut gets caught flat footed, as Buktot shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Buut has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Buut being controlled here, momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Buktot being controlled here momentarily. Buut lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Buut throws a big right hand that misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Buut is stalling in the full guard. Buktot has his hands on Buut's head, controlling the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut showing good wrestling skills to control the position. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Walay Buut showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Buktot's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round! Buktot displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Buut. Buktot changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Buktot goes for a double leg but Buut avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Buut continues to drive forward. Buut manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut has control of Buktot's left arm, preventing Buktot from doing any damage. Buktot postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buut is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Buktot content to stall in guard here. Buut pulls Buktot in close to prevent any damage. Buut doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Buktot controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buut closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Buktot did well to prevent Buut getting side control. Buktot gets full guard. Buktot pulls Buut in close to his closed guard and prevents Buut from doing any damage or advancing position. Buut's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buktot looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Buktot controlling the position. Buut sitting in guard, not really doing much. Buktot tries to strike from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Dawindi Buktot has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Walay Buut is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Dawindi Buktot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walay Buut. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Buut is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Buktot's half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Walay Buut comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Buut winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
