Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexei Babinski (ranked 528 p4p, 1985 weight class) and Dan Donovan (ranked 26 p4p, 92 weight class). Babinski's entrance music is Raining Blood - Slayer. A fine choice. Alexei Babinski has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Donovan!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Darius Henderson and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donovan misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Babinski makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Donovan really felt that one!
Donovan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Babinski moves out of range of the strikes.
Donovan bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Nice defenses there by Donovan.
Donovan moves into range and connects with a jab.
Donovan lands a nice shot to the body.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Donovan has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
A low kick from Babinski is predictable there
and Donovan comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Babinski stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Donovan is on him like rabid pit bull! Babinski slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Donovan!
Dan Donovan bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
