The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Prometeus lands an elbow inside.

Prometeus breaks from the clinch.
Villaruz shoots in looking for a takedown but Prometeus manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Villaruz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Prometeus feints the counter takedown.

Villaruz throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Prometeus tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Villaruz is in Prometeus's guard.

Prometeus scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Prometeus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Villaruz's waist but Villaruz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Prometeus off to one side.
Villaruz tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Prometeus swivels and escapes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A decent looking body kick lands there for Prometeus.

Villaruz gets tackled into the cage by Prometeus. Prometeus maintains the clinch.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Prometeus is trying to stand up here but Villaruz is controlling him well.

Villaruz is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Prometeus has managed to free his arm - good work.

Villaruz is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Prometeus is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
