Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Reed Nacho! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Carlton Draught! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nacho looking to score a takedown here. Draught is defending well but Nacho drives through and ends up in Draught's guard. Draught is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Nacho trying to hold on to Draught's head to control him but Draught postures up.
Nacho slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Nacho looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Draught has gone for a leg lock! Nacho slips out almost immediately though and dives into Draught's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nacho stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Draught swivels though and keeps the full guard. Nacho really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Draught is trying to keep Nacho in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Draught isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Nacho stacks Draught on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Nacho! Draught on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Draught manages to get back to half guard. Nacho not doing much here.

Draught should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Nacho is figuring out what he wants to do next. That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Draught moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Nacho is posturing up here but Draught has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Nacho tries to roll out but it's too tight and Nacho has to tap! Slick submission there by Draught!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Carlton Draught! A relieved looking Carlton Draught thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
