Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronny Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and J Rodd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronny Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, J Rodd! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rodd throws a right and a left that Jones avoids nicely. Rodd misses with a two punch combination.
The fighters circling - Rodd throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Rodd bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jones's head backwards. Jones tries to clinch up. Jones has closed the distance and engaged Rodd in a clinch.
Jones manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jones connects with a high kick. Jones keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rodd. Rodd looks gassed! Jones throws a series of punches but Rodd avoids them all with ease. Jones forces Rodd back against the cage and clinches. Jones is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Rodd can't break the clinch.

Ronny Jones dominated that round. The cut man is working on J Rodd's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Rodd looks to land a right hand but Jones moved out of range. Rodd swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jones finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Jones scores with a head kick.
J Rodd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones feints and then cracks Rodd's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rodd down. Jones instigates a clinch. Jones lands an elbow just above Rodd 's eye. Jones lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Still in the clinch, Jones scores with a nice short uppercut. Jones is working Rodd over against the cage. Rodd is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones unloads a knee to the mid-section. Rodd lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Jones gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Jones stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Jones throws a combination that misses and Rodd counters with a straight right hand. Jones lands with a slapping head kick. Jones tries to clinch up but Rodd circles away and keeps his distance. Jones closes the distance looking to clinch and Rodd counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jones thinking. Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rodd paws at him with a jab and circles away. A big left from Rodd misses. Jones lands with a slapping head kick. Rodd misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Jones counters with a head kick.
Rodd is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rodd swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Rodd is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him? Jones throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Rodd colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Jones as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Rodd is left battered and dazed whilst Jones and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ronny Jones!
