The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Talbain clinches up with Shewmaker and pushes him back against the ropes.
Shewmaker lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Shewmaker unloads a knee to the mid-section. Talbain lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Shewmaker connects with a knee to the head.
Shewmaker lands a body punch.
Shewmaker lands an uppercut.
Shewmaker lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
A left hand lands to the body for Shewmaker.

Talbain wants to stall.
Shewmaker lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Talbain backwards.

Talbain wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Talbain is still on wobbly legs! Can Shewmaker finish him?
Shewmaker creates a bit of space and fires a knee right up the middle, almost lifting Talbain off his feet and sending him crashing to the canvas! Talbain is trying to get back to his feet but his equilibrium is completely gone! The referee has called it off! This fight is over! Shewmaker is jumping up and down like a mad man, celebrating with his cornermen.
