Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Sss Sss (ranked 23574 p4p, 5825 weight class) and Sss Sss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sss Sss has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 37 - 20 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 44 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sss Sss! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter A shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fighter B sprawls well. Fighter B wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fighter A gets slowly back to his feet. Fighter B replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fighter A blocks it well. Fighter A defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fighter B. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fighter B tries to avoid it but Fighter A manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fighter B to the ground. Fighter B escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Fighter B shoots for a double leg takedown but Fighter A sprawls well. He's pushed Fighter B's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter A is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fighter B sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Fighter B is trying to counter with his kicks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sss Sss. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fighter A shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Fighter A showed some decent athleticism there. Fighter A controlling the action here. Fighter B preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A content to control rather than advance. Fighter B keeps control of the position for the meantime. Fighter B is trying to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fighter B has his takedown stuffed and Fighter A counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Fighter B keeping hold of Fighter A's head, controlling as best he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is figuring out what he wants to do next. Fighter B wants to improve his position but Fighter A is controlling well.
Fighter A is figuring out what he wants to do next. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sss Sss dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Fighter B shoots in for a takedown but Fighter A shows good takedown defense. Fighter A throws a quick counter kick to the body but Fighter B avoids it. Fighter A dives in for a single leg takedown but Fighter B sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Fighter B counters with a body kick. Fighter A gets control of Fighter B's arms and successfully pulls guard. Fighter A will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Fighter B trying to control but Fighter A is working from the bottom. Fighter A is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fighter B can do to turn this around? Fighter B being controlled here momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Fighter A pulls Fighter B in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Fighter A closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Fighter A lands in his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Fighter A seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Fighter B for as long as he can get away with.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Fighter A continues to stall. Fighter B looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Fighter A is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sss Sss dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round! Fighter B looks for a takedown but Fighter A sprawls well. It looked like Fighter A was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Fighter B darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A trying to control but Fighter B postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B wants to take a breather but Fighter A is having none of it. Fighter A is positioning himself well to prevent Fighter B advancing to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fighter A is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fighter B's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fighter B's back! Fighter B manages to reverse the position and now he's in Fighter A's guard. Nice work there by Fighter B.
Fighter A has his hands on Fighter B's head, controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fighter A wants to hit a sweep here but Fighter B passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Fighter A there! Fighter A slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter B trying to control from half guard but Fighter A is working away. Fighter A is concentrating on defense, preventing Fighter B from advancing position. Fighter A has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Fighter B seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fighter A does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Fighter A is looking to control Fighter B's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Fighter A avoid being mounted?
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fighter A is positioning himself well to prevent Fighter B advancing to mount. Fighter B is controlling the pace.
Sss Sss has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sss Sss is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Fighter B is thwarting Fighter A's attempts to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
And that's the end of the fight! Sss Sss comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Fighter A has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
