Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Teerasil Dangda (ranked 4206 p4p, 4231 weight class) and Mason Brown (ranked 508 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Teerasil Dangda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dangda circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dangda misses with a takedown attempt
and Brown counters with a right hand to the body.
Dangda gets caught flat footed, as Brown shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Dangda pushes Brown off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Dangda moves in looking to clinch but Brown pushes him off.
Brown looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Brown throws a head kick that misses.
Dangda changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Brown tries to clinch but Dangda is having none of it.
Dangda will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Brown really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dangda. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Brown got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dangda has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Brown has managed to get both his arms back between Dangda's legs - danger averted.

Dangda's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Brown is holding on here and Dangda must be using up a lot of energy. Brown has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Dangda gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
