Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Latka Gravas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cassius Swank (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Latka Gravas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cassius Swank! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swank is looking to clinch. Swank tries for a takedown but Gravas sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Gravas closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Gravas throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Swank wants to get back to his feet.
Gravas drops an elbow to the side of Swank's head. Gravas is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Swank reverses the position - he's now on top in Gravas's guard. Swank stopping the sweep attempt from Gravas. Swank got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gravas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Swank has managed to get both his arms back between Gravas's legs - danger averted. Swank has gone for a leg lock! Gravas slips out almost immediately though and dives into Swank's guard. Swank looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gravas tries to free his leg and advance position but Swank is retaining full guard. Gravas drops back, looking for a kneebar! Swank looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Swank looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Swank! Gravas is trying to improve his position. Swank throws a strike aimed at the side of Gravas's head but Gravas avoids it well. Gravas regains half guard. Gravas is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gravas is staying active underneath Swank, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Swank slips a nice elbow through Gravas's hands, connecting with Gravas's forehead. Swank moves nicely into side control. Swank wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gravas keeps working. Gravas looking for a sweep but Swank has passed into full mount! Oh no! Gravas is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Gravas is working hard here to advance position. Gravas on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gravas tries to get out of the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gravas might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Swank tries to control but Gravas wriggling away. Gravas is looking to improve his position but Swank isn't that keen on the idea. Swank looking for a guillotine from mount but Gravas is having none of it. Gravas is in all sorts of trouble here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Swank punching from mount but Gravas doing a good job of avoiding damage. Gravas defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Swank. Swank looks gassed! Gravas is trying to escape the mount.
Swank looking to ground and pound but Gravas is blocking nicely. Gravas is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Swank trying to control but he's not successful this time. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gravas is working to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Latka Gravas dominated that round. That's time! Gravas's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Gravas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Swank not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Gravas postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Swank is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gravas, into his guard. Swank trying to control but Gravas is working from the bottom. Swank avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gravas striking off his back but it's not causing Swank any problems. Gravas throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Swank escapes and throws Gravas's legs to the side, diving into side control!
That's one minute gone in the round. Gravas looks to move to half guard but instead Swank has passed into mount! Damn! Gravas is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Gravas is squirming around, avoiding Swank's attempts to control the action. Gravas is trying to reverse the position but instead Swank has taken his back - oops! Gravas defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Swank's arms. Gravas breaks Swank's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Gravas postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Swank is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gravas, into his guard. Swank preventing the sweep. Swank slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Swank lands a few punches from side control. Swank decides to take the fight back to the feet. Swank is breathing heavily. Gravas gets the takedown into side control. Gravas tries for a kimura but Swank is defending well. Swank is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Gravas off and has taken his back!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gravas tries to roll but Swank sticks to his back.

Gravas rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Gravas flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Swank decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Gravas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Swank was covering up waiting for the punch and Gravas finishes the takedown easily into guard. Latka Gravas overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Gravas tries to free his leg and advance position but Swank is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Swank working a defensive guard here.
Swank looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gravas is one step ahead there. Gravas lands a couple of decent looking shots. Gravas works a leg free and moves into half guard. Gravas in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Swank tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Gravas!
