Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Covid Gonna Get!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Igor Prikhodko and Dmitry Maklakov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonna Get shoots in and drives through. Doback sprawls well.
We've been told by Doback's head coaches at Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Doback connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gonna Get. Gonna Get circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Covid Gonna Get has been cut.

Gonna Get throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Doback tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gonna Get is in Doback's guard.
Gonna Get told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.
Gonna Get sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Gonna Get trying to control but Doback is working from the bottom.
Doback has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gonna Get stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Doback swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Gonna Get sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Doback's guard.

Gonna Get is looking for a kimura but Doback is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Gonna Get to get the leverage.
Gonna Get wants to take a breather but Doback is having none of it.

Gonna Get is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Doback has managed to free his arm - good work.
Gonna Get trying to control from half guard but Doback is working away.

Gonna Get is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Doback still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Doback has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!
Gonna Get tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Doback wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Gonna Get is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gonna Get wants to control but Doback postures up.
Gonna Get gets back to half guard.
Gonna Get works his way to full guard. Good work.
Gonna Get pulls Doback in close to his closed guard and prevents Doback from doing any damage or advancing position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Doback tries to stand but Gonna Get is controlling from the bottom.
Gonna Get looking to control.

Doback got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gonna Get has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Doback has managed to get both his arms back between Gonna Get's legs - danger averted.
Gonna Get is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Gonna Get wants to sweep here but Doback controlling him for the moment.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Gonna Get throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Gonna Get trying to keep a closed guard but Doback is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Doback has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gonna Get is proving hard to escape from.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Doback lands a glancing blow to the side of Gonna Get's head.

Gonna Get gets a double leg takedown into Doback's guard.
Gonna Get looking to sit in guard and control but Doback gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Gonna Get working a defensive guard here.
Gonna Get might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Doback haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Dale Doback will probably get the nod.

Gonna Get has his takedown stuffed

and Doback counters with a crisp right hand that drops Gonna Get! Doback lets Gonna Get back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Doback ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Gonna Get's jaw. Gonna Get's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Doback does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
