Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ray Tapout (ranked 3779 p4p, 3278 weight class) and Kim JumLi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

JumLi dives in and scores a takedown into Tapout's guard.

Tapout has his foot on JumLi's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. JumLi works his way back into a safe position though.

Tapout escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. JumLi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Tapout has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but JumLi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tapout drops back, looking for a kneebar! JumLi looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. JumLi looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from JumLi!

JumLi has hold of Tapout's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Tapout tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - JumLi cranks the arm and Tapout screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Tapout, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
