This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 14 losses; Zhan Dhelan! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 5 losses; Jimmy Burroughs!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

We've been hearing good reports from Dhelan's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Burroughs's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Dhelan is holding on here and Burroughs must be using up a lot of energy. Dhelan has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Burroughs gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
