And in the blue corner, fighting out of Helsinki, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 7 losses; Ricky Peyton! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Gracie has closed the distance and engaged Peyton in a clinch.

Peyton has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Gracie pushes past his half guard into mount! Score +3 for passing guard: Gracie (5) vs (0) Peyton Peyton is looking to improve his position but Gracie isn't that keen on the idea. Gracie looking for a guillotine from mount but Peyton is having none of it. We've been hearing good reports from Gracie's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Peyton wants to hold on but Gracie pushes him away. Gracie takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Peyton has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.
