This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the super heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 7 losses; Gang ge! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and Chad Campbell.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Dirt is looking to take this fight into the clinch. ge closes this distance looking for a takedown but Dirt circles away. ge has his takedown stuffed and Dirt counters into the clinch. Nicely done. ge gets control of Dirt's arms and successfully pulls guard. ge will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Dirt wants to control from the top but ge keeps moving. ge keeping full guard, as Dirt tries to pass. ge really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dirt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dirt passes ge's right leg, so he's now in half guard. ge is refusing to be controlled, as Dirt sits in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. ge looking for submissions off his back. ge is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dirt pulls his head out easily. Dirt is trying to control. ge wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
