Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between JT Colossus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oppolla Doc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doc has chosen Heat - The Jesus and Mary Chain as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colossus keeps the fight on the outside.
Doc wants to clinch up but Colossus keeps it at a distance.
Colossus throws out a loose jab but Doc uses good head movement to avoid it.
Colossus lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Doc circles away quickly and effectively.
Doc tries to clinch there but Colossus circles away.

Oppolla Doc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Doc tries to close the distance and clinch but Colossus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Colossus gets control of Doc's arms and successfully pulls guard. Colossus will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Colossus has his foot on Doc's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Doc works his way back into a safe position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Colossus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Doc can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Doc stands up and beckons Colossus to his feet.
Doc wants to clinch up but Colossus keeps it at a distance.
Doc tries to close the distance and clinch up but Colossus swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Oppolla Doc is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Colossus counters with a crisp right that sends Doc to the canvas! Colossus follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
