Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between JT Colossus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oppolla Doc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doc has chosen Heat - The Jesus and Mary Chain as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, JT Colossus! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Oppolla Doc! The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colossus keeps the fight on the outside. Doc wants to clinch up but Colossus keeps it at a distance. Colossus throws out a loose jab but Doc uses good head movement to avoid it. Colossus lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Doc circles away quickly and effectively. Doc tries to clinch there but Colossus circles away.

Doc tries to close the distance and clinch but Colossus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Doc tries to clinch there but Colossus circles away.

Doc wants to clinch. Doc moves into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Colossus takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like JT Colossus has been cut. Colossus gets control of Doc's arms and successfully pulls guard. Colossus will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Colossus has his foot on Doc's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Doc works his way back into a safe position though. Colossus is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Doc wants to get up but he can't break Colossus's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Colossus is looking for a triangle but Doc pushes his legs off easily.
Doc must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Doc content to stall in guard here. Colossus keeping moving, preventing Doc from controlling successfully. Colossus looking for a guillotine here but Doc defends easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Colossus has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Doc can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Colossus looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Doc has picked Colossus up and slammed him! Colossus can't keep hold of the triangle and Doc manages to pass to side control! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Colossus is trying to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Doc stands up and beckons Colossus to his feet. Doc wants to clinch up but Colossus keeps it at a distance. Doc tries to close the distance and clinch up but Colossus swats him away and circles back towards the center. Oppolla Doc is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Doc wants to clinch. Doc wants to clinch up but Colossus keeps it at a distance. The fight stays on the outside here - Doc looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Colossus keeps the fight on the outside. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Doc is looking to clinch but Colossus is avoiding it.

It looks like Oppolla Doc has been cut. Colossus circles away from the clinch attempt and Colossus counters with a beautiful punch that sends Doc to the canvas! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
JT Colossus dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Doc closes the distance but Colossus moves to the side and Colossus counters with a crisp right that sends Doc to the canvas! Colossus follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
