Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Voss (ranked 5079 p4p, 3158 weight class) and Thomas Dillinger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas Dillinger has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Scott Voss! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Thomas Dillinger ! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dillinger throws a combination. Voss tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Scott Voss has been cut. Voss misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Dillinger ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Voss moves away. A swing and a miss from Dillinger . Voss is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dillinger sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Voss tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dillinger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Dillinger gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Voss to score an easy takedown into full guard. Dillinger is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Let's hope that Dillinger has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Dillinger keeping moving, preventing Voss from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Voss controls from within his opponent's guard. Voss is fighting to break Dillinger 's control of his arms but Dillinger is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Voss throwing strikes but missing. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dillinger holds on and takes a little breather. Dillinger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Voss. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Voss is working Dillinger over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Voss throws a big right hand that misses. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dillinger can do anything to dispel that myth. Voss being controlled here momentarily. Voss could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Voss wants to control from the top but Dillinger keeps moving.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Voss slips under a jab. Dillinger keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scott Voss. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dillinger throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Voss. Voss seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Dillinger lands an overhand right. Voss ducks under a wild hook from Dillinger . Voss has a takedown stuffed. Voss is breathing heavily. Dillinger misses with a wild combination.
Dillinger lands the left hand. Dillinger bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Voss is rocked!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dillinger lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Voss falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
