Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dillinger throws a combination. Voss tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

It looks like Scott Voss has been cut.
Voss misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Dillinger ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Voss moves away.
A swing and a miss from Dillinger .
Voss is trying hard to land a takedown here. Dillinger sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Voss tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dillinger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Dillinger gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Voss to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Dillinger is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Let's hope that Dillinger has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Voss is fighting to break Dillinger 's control of his arms but Dillinger is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dillinger holds on and takes a little breather.
Dillinger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Voss. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Voss is working Dillinger over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dillinger can do anything to dispel that myth.

Voss seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
