Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Honjou Moriaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Axaxor Morte!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Micheangelo Fripello and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morte throws a right and a left that Moriaki avoids nicely.
Morte catches Moriaki with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
It looks like Honjou Moriaki has been cut.
Morte lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Moriaki shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Morte as he avoids it easily.
And Morte tries to counter it with a takedown but Moriaki pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Morte punishes Moriaki's body with a nice straight punch.
Morte cracks Moriaki with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Moriaki falls to his knees and Morte doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Axaxor Morte!
After winning the bout, Axaxor Morte thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
